The IAFPA, founded in 2000 in the UK, expanded across the Asia Pacific and the Middle East. In response to the Covid-19 pandemic, IAFPA restructured, merging its UK and Asia branches into a single entity in September 2020. The headquarters moved to Singapore, with the UK office remaining for European outreach.
