Currently, a Station Manager for Aviation Security Service (AvSec) at Auckland Airport and responsible for a team of 550 personnel who provide safety and security to passengers, non-passengers, baggage, cargo, aircraft and infrastructure.  Anil Varma is a qualified Electrical Engineer with over 40 years working experience in manufacturing and the last 18 years in aviation operations at Auckland Airport.  Anil has in-depth knowledge in running the Airport Emergency Services, Engineering and Maintenance of airport infrastructures. He further also had experience in leading response to major crisis events such as Covid 19, the terminal floods and aviation fuel pipeline failure.
